Marisa's ice cream cone

(SIDE NOTE: I HAVE TO MAKE THE X AND Z AXIS ALL ZERO AND MAKE SURE ALL THE PARTS ARE ALL ALIGNED!!!)

1. First I create the cone by going to the polygon tab and clicking the cone and I have to rotate it 180 degrees so that it sits upside down.

2. I create the first circle on top of the cone and scale the circle so that it is squashed down and looks like a scoop of ice cream.

3. Again I create the circle but I have to make it slightly smaller than the first "scoop" and I do the same process

4. I do the same procedure as 4 and 5.

5. The last thing I need to do it create the cherry. I do that by making my small circle and setting it on tope of the ice cream cone by using the move tool.

My 3-D object

My 3-D object was very easy but  yet complicated in getting the squares of the house to fit with each other and i had fun because i felt like i knew what i was doing in maya not like flash in flash i was very confused in what i was doing and well i had fun making this house even though it was not finish i really enjoyed making this.

To make my creation i first go to create and go to NURBS PRIMITIVES and then i click on the cube and not the little box that is on the side so once i go to my stage i have to pull on the arrow that comes out in my graph and then i drag the arrow up and it forms a cube the next thing i do is i follow the same steps but using a pyramid im using a pyramid for the roof of the house and then i click the move tool to move the pyramid i click on the green arrow so i can move the pyramid up to be connected to my house.

I am creating a 3D house that has a square shape with a pyramid shape on top, and with a little garage on the side in total of Squares in the house is 6 and with 4 sides of the pyramid.

on friday i have learned many things that i didn't know about maya like i didn't know that the component mode is an other way to make an object bigger, yes i had problems in understanding at first when i was in the component mode but then Mrs.G explained it to me so i understood better.
